Our farm’s story begins in the year 2007, or perhaps long before that…
As a young couple, we loved traveling the desert and experiencing its magic.
During our travels we were acquainted with the unique desert vegetation, we got to know their medicinal uses from the Bedouins, and started dreaming about a place of our own, joining all our passions together – the desert, plants, healing, people, the silence, and simplicity.
Originally hail from South Africa, but Israel has been home since 1996. In 2006 we headed south to the Negev Highlands. We had a vision for establishing a vineyard and fields of herbs. for making essential oils. Our dreams came true.
Essential oils can be very beneficial for pain relief, strengthening immunity and general well-being. Their 100% natural molecules get to work very quickly!
We guarantee that our oil is produced entirely from the herbs that we grow. All of our work is done by hand – Weeding, picking and sorting. No chemicals are sprayed onto the herbs.

My name is Ezra Zahor. I am 68 years old and I have lived in Kibbutz Revivim, Ramat HaNegev for 55 years. I have held various leadership positions in the kibbutz and for the past 20 years I have been a photography teacher in schools across the Negev. I am happily married to Yael and we have three children and nine grandchildren, all of whom live in Revivim.
I recently retired and my entire agenda is based on being a photographer in the Negev. I am a photographer of the open spaces, nature and the local population.
Daily, I find myself exploring various landscapes across the Negev Highlands, Dead Sea, Gaza Envelope, Eilat Mountains and everything in between.
There are various landscapes, faces, fauna, wildlife and beauty that we can find daily here all around my home.
I recently published a photo book that reflects my approach as a photographer.

We established our farm in 2003 on the Negev heights, on the road from Sde-Boker to Mitzpe-Ramon. We planted Argan trees and we now specialize in producing oils from the fruits of the Argan tree (also called Moroccan oil). From these unique oils, we create various products that we now sell online and you can also enjoy their miraculous traits.
Pure argan oil is a rare and precious oil that is harvested and extracted from the nut of the argan tree. For centuries, women across the Mediterranean have used argan oil in their beauty regimen for vibrant, healthy-looking skin and hair.
We really hope that soon you will also be able to come and visit us on the farm, stay the night at our lodges, and view the oil production at our visitor’s center.
